Configure your browserThis tutorial will teach you how to configure your browser to use a proxy server. Below are the three most used web browsers: Internet Explorer, FireFox, Opera, and a short step by step guide for each one. Internet ExplorerGo to 'Tools' then "Internet Options" and select the "Connections" tab. On the connections tab, under "Dial-up and Virtual Private Network settings", select the network connection on which you want to set up the proxy, and press the "Settings" button. Check the "Use a proxy server for this connection" and enter the address and port of the proxy server you wish to connect to. If you want to set a different proxy server for each protocol, you can do so by pressing the "Advanced" button. FireFoxGo to "Tools"' then "Options" and select the "General" tab. On the general tab, press the "Connection Settings" button. Check the "Manual proxy configuration" and write the address and port of the proxy server you wish to connect to. If you want to use the same proxy server for all protocols, check the "Use this proxy server for all protocols" aswell. OperaGo to "Tools" then "Preferences" and select the "Advanced" tab. On the advanced tab, select "Network" on the menu on the left, and then press "roxy servers" button on the menu which shows on the right after pressing "network". Check the checkbox in front of the protocol you want to use and set the proxy server's address and port.
