Proxy Filter

Proxy filter is a way to remove proxy servers which aren't good to use. Most of the proxy hunters filter out their their proxy lists with tools like Charon, which have the proxy filter implemented, to filter the proxy servers automatically.

First thing to do, would be filtering out domain names that end with: ".mil", ".edu", ".gov" and those containing words "codeen" or "planetlab". Second is to filter proxy servers with static IP addresses that are known to be unsafe. You can download a list of IP addresses to filter out here: Proxy Filter IP List
